Abstract
La presente invención esta relacionada con la industria farmacéutica en general y con la industria farmacéutica preparadora de medicamentos para la prevención y/o tratamiento del Síndrome de Intestino Irritable (SII) y síntomas característicos como el dolor o malestar abdominal asociados con alteraciones de la defecación y frecuentemente distensión abdominal, en particular. La presente invención, en relación con las composiciones con iguales fines del estado de la técnica, tiene las ventajas siguientes: menores dosificaciones de cada uno de los activos, mayor rapidez de acción y menores efectos colaterales. La composición que refleja las enseñanzas de la presente invención comprende la combinación sinérgica de un agente bloqueador de los canales de calcio tipo-L con acción selectiva sobre la fibra muscular lisa del tracto gastrointestinal y un agente antiflatulento, así como excipientes farmacéuticamente aceptables.
