Abstract
Se provee una tajada deshidratada de un vegetal o una fruta, que es adaptada para ser rehidratada mediante un proceso de rehidratación, que tiene una circunferencia que es sustancialmente la misma que la circunferencia de la respectiva tajada del vegetal crudo, y que tiene un espesor que se reduce aproximadamente del 20 al 90% en comparación con el espesor de la respectiva tajada de vegetal o fruta crudos. La tajada deshidratada tiene una superficie plana. Adicionalmente, se provee un método para producir dichas tajadas deshidratadas. Dichas tajadas deshidratadas están adaptadas para ser rehidratadas mediante un proceso de rehidratación aquí dado, mediante lo cual el llevar a cabo dicho proceso lleva a una tajada rehidratada con un espesor del respectivo vegetal o fruta crudos.
