Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición farmacéutica de liberación modificada en cápsulas con microesferas recubiertas que comprende la combinación de dos principios activos de tiempos de concentración plasmática radicalmente diferentes, éstos son un músculo relajante (tizanidina) y un analgésico antiinflamatorio no esteroide (meloxicam), vehículos o excipientes farmacéuticamente aceptables; así como a un proceso para la manufactura de la composición y al uso de dicha combinación para la preparación de un medicamento con actividad terapéutica sinérgica indicada en el tratamiento de espasticidad, desórdenes relacionados con padecimientos musculares y/o músculo esquelético y dolor en general de moderado a severo.
