Abstract

"PROCESO PARA PRODUCCIÓN DE BIOMASA Y PROTEÍNAS POR MICROALGAS". La presente invención proporciona un proceso para producción de biomasa y proteínas de microalgas, el cual ventajosamente utiliza como fuente de desarrollo de las dichas microalgas los desechos de la industria de alcohol, de manera especial la vinaza y el dióxido de carbono proveniente de las cubas del proceso fermentativo. El proceso de acuerdo con la presente invención comprende las etapas básicas de preparación de la vinaza, adaptación y preparación del inóculo con la microalga Spirulina platensis OF 25, cultivo de la microalga en condiciones controladas y utilización de CO2, separación de la biomasa algal y, opcionalmente, recirculación de la fase acuosa en el proceso hasta que se alcance niveles de DQO y DBO aceptables por las legislaciones ambientales."PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF BIOMASS AND PROTEINS BY MICROALGAS". The present invention provides a process for the production of biomass and proteins of microalgae, which advantageously uses as a source of development of said microalgae the wastes of the alcohol industry, especially vinegar and carbon dioxide from the tanks of the fermentation process. The process according to the present invention comprises the basic steps of preparing the vinasse, adapting and preparing the inoculum with the Spirulina platensis OF 25 microalgae, cultivation of the microalgae under controlled conditions and use of CO2, separation of algal biomass and, optionally, recirculation of the aqueous phase in the process until COD and BOD levels acceptable by environmental legislation are reached.
