Abstract
Una turbina sinfín helicoidal y aparato hidrocinético para uso en generadores eléctricos para producir electricidad. La turbina sinfín incluye un álabe de turbina helicoidal generalmente, montado giratoriamente en un eje central, el cual puede ser cónico en cada extremo y una brida que se extiende perpendicularmente a un borde del álabe de la turbina. Se incluye al menos una conexión de soporte del álabe de la turbina, para conectar el eje central a una estructura de soporte. Un generador eléctrico puede ser alimentado por la turbina sinfín helicoidal, que se puede usar en un flujo de agua de marea. La turbina sinfín helicoidal puede operar una bomba de alta presión conectada a un acumulador hidráulico para almacenar fluido hidráulico presurizado desde la bomba de alta presión. Un generador eléctrico puede ser operado mediante fluido hidráulico entregado desde el acumulador hidráulico en momentos de flujo de agua lento.
