Abstract
Se divulgan procesos para mejorar alimentaciones de hidrocarburos de petróleo residual. Los procesos de mejoramiento pueden incluir: el hidrocraqueo de un petróleo residual en una primera etapa de reacción para formar un efluente de primera etapa; el hidrocraqueo de una fracción de petróleo desasfaltado en una segunda etapa de reacción para formar un efluente de segunda etapa; el fraccionar el efluente de la primera etapa y el efluente de la segunda etapa para recuperar al menos una fracción de hidrocarburo destilado y una fracción de hidrocarburo de petróleo residual; el alimentar la fracción de hidrocarburo de petróleo residual a una unidad de desasfaltado en solvente para proporcionar una fracción de asfáltenos y la fracción de petróleo desasfaltado.
