Abstract
Un método para producir un reductor de arrastre de polímero de látex. El método empieza mediante la formación de una solución acuosa que comprende un tensoactivo, un regulador y agua. El método luego forma una solución orgánica que comprende un monómero y un coestabilizante. La solución acuosa y la solución orgánica se mezclan para formar una emulsión. La emulsión luego se somete a un dispositivo de alto corte para producir una miniemulsión, en donde los monómeros se rompen en gotas pequeñas seguido por polimerización de la miniemulsión con la adición de un iniciador, en donde ocurre una nucleación en las gotas de monómero pequeñas.
