Abstract

Un método para cementar un pozo que comprende preparar una composición de cementación para pozos que comprende un material cementoso y un aditivo biopolímero modificado en donde el aditivo biopolímero modificado es el producto de reacción de un proceso que comprende contactar un biopolímero y un carbonato orgánico para formar una mezcla de reacción y someter la mezcla de reacción a una temperatura de aproximadamente 100 °F (38°C) a aproximadamente 250 °F (121°C) y colocar el fluido de cementación para pozos en el pozo. Un método para cementar un pozo que comprende contactar un aditivo biopolímero modificado con una lechada cementosa para producir una composición de cementación para pozos que tiene una viscosidad inicial, v0: colocar la composición de cementación para pozos a una profundidad deseada en una formación subterránea en donde la composición de cementación para pozos tiene una viscosidad transicional, vt, durante la colocación en la formación subterránea una viscosidad final, Vf, a la profundidad deseada en donde Vf ?Vt>v0; dejar fraguar la composición de cementación para pozos.
