Abstract
La presente invención se refiere los procesos para consolidar una formación subterránea con un mineral de consolidación. El material de consolidación es un carbonato y es producido a partir de un fluido de tratamiento alcalino que contiene, en al menos algunas modalidades, componentes ambientalmente amigables y baratos. En una modalidad, el proceso puede ser aplicado a la consolidación de una formación subterránea durante o después de la perforación. La presente invención también proporciona un fluido de tratamiento adecuado para el uso tales procesos.
