Abstract

Un sistema y método para controlar un dispositivo móvil en una cabecera de red que incluye un dispositivo móvil que comunica una solicitud de contenido a la cabecera de red. La cabecera de red solicita datos de coordenadas geográficas de la localización del dispositivo móvil y, cuando están disponibles los datos de coordenadas geográficas, determina una primera región geográfica asociada con el dispositivo móvil en respuesta a los datos de localización por coordenadas geográficas. Cuando no están disponibles los datos de coordenadas geográficas del dispositivo móvil, la cabecera de red extrae una dirección IP de la solicitud y determina una segunda región geográfica en base a la dirección IP y un nivel de confianza. Cuando el nivel de confianza está por debajo de un umbral, la cabecera de red determina una tercera región geográfica en base a los datos de abonado del dispositivo móvil. La cabecera de red controla el dispositivo móvil en respuesta a una de la primera región geográfica, la segunda región geográfica y la tercera región geográfica.
