Abstract

Se describe una cápsula biodegradable y transformable en compost, para ser utilizada en aparatos automáticos para producir café o, de forma más general, bebidas calientes y/o frías, la cual cápsula es apropiada para contener productos de infusión para producir bebidas, que se caracteriza porque el producto para infusión o dilución (2) está contenido en una cápsula (1) cerrada por una membrana (3), la cual es una única capa y está hecha de un material que comprende un polímero biodegradable y transformable en compost, o una mezcla de polímeros biodegradables y transformables en compost, y un porcentaje de rellenos que varía entre 15% y 90%, con la siguiente composición: De 10% a 85% de uno y/o una mezcla de poliésteres alifáticos o alifáticos-aromáticos que contiene de 15% a 90% de uno y/o más rellenos que comprende pequeñas partículas cuya granulometría D50 varía entre 1 micra y 200 micras, con o sin tratamiento de superficie, que no interactúa con la bebida administrada a través de la cápsula.
