Abstract
Se divulgan variedades de estevia con un alto contenido de RebD, un alto contenido de RebM y un alto contenido de RebD y RebM, con varios marcadores SNP e isoformas UGT. Igualmente se divulgan métodos para filtrar los SNPs y para utilizarlos en reproducción mediante el uso de marcadores. Asimismo, se describen los métodos para la introgresión de los SNPs divulgados, relacionados con alto RebD y alto RebM en plantas de estevia, seleccionando plantas que contengan uno o más SNPs y cruzándolas para obtener los fenotipos agronómicos deseados en la progenie de las plantas.
