Abstract

Se proporciona tecnología para un sistema de control de motor bilateral para su uso en un motor de pistón opuesto de cilindros múltiples. El sistema incluye un primer y un segundo conjunto de inyectores, cada uno de los cuales se puede montar en el primer y segundo lado de un motor. Cada inyector está en comunicación de fluido con un cilindro correspondiente del motor. La primera y la segunda unidad de control del motor están conectadas a un conjunto respectivo de inyectores. Los primeros y segundos sensores de velocidad del cigüeñal están conectados a las respectivas unidades de control del motor. La primera unidad de control del motor controla de forma independiente el primer conjunto de inyectores en base a una primera señal de velocidad y la segunda unidad de control del motor controla de forma independiente el segundo conjunto de inyectores en base a una segunda señal de velocidad. La primera unidad de control del motor y la segunda unidad de control del motor están configuradas para activar los inyectores correspondientes del primer y segundo conjunto de inyectores prácticamente al mismo tiempo.
