Abstract
Se describen un método y un equipo para la clarificación de cultivos celulares, así como un sistema o aparato para clarificar un cultivo celular y purificar biomoléculas de interés. El cultivo celular comprende al menos una biomolécula de interés. El método comprende añadir uno o más compuestos al cultivo celular que permiten la formación de flóculos de solutos y/o partículas en dicha cosecha de cultivos celulares, añadir una cantidad de tierra de diatomeas (DE) a dicha cosecha de cultivo celular, agitar la solución obtenida, y transferir dicha solución a un recipiente de filtración que comprende un filtro de soporte que tiene una superficie, conforme a lo cual la tierra de diatomeas en dicha solución forma una capa sobre dicha superficie y se filtra dicha solución de cosecha a través de dicha capa y dicho filtro de soporte.
