Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un vehículo urbano para el transporte de carga de gran volumen y poco peso que se subdivide en dos: una mini cabeza tractora y una semiplataforma ligera. Estas se acoplan mediante una quinta rueda con un perno rey, permitiendo realizar el transporte de productos de alto coeficiente cúbico incluyendo formatos largos. La mini cabeza tractora de la invención es más corta entre los ejes de dirección y de tracción comparado con un vehículo para el transporte de carga del tipo común. La distancia entre los ejes de dirección (delantero) y tracción (posterior) de la mini cabeza tractora es de 1.3 hasta 1.7 veces el ancho del eje de dirección. Con estas proporciones se determinan las distancias o medidas entre el eje delantero de dirección y el eje posterior de tracción; el eje de transmisión comprendido entre la salida de la caja de velocidades y la corona de transmisión donde se ubican los semiejes de tracción es menos largo entre 40% y 60% con respecto al eje de transmisión de vehículo del tipo común lo cual facilita la reducción del largo total del chasis original incluyendo la eliminación del voladizo posterior logrando un menor largo total en un rango que varía del 15% al 25%.
