Abstract

The apparatus includes level and temperature sensors and a computing unit configured to calculate the industrial oil potential (IPA) from oil concentration data and temperature and height data. Oil concentration can be obtained using laboratory techniques, or determined in real time using a near-infrared spectrometer.
