Abstract

La presente invención proporciona métodos para reducir el daño al arroz y lograr un control de las malezas tratando el arroz con un protector y con un herbicida microencapsulado del Grupo 15. En la presente invención, los inventores demuestran que la tolerancia del arroz protegido con fenclorim al herbicida del Grupo 15 acetoclor aumenta sustancialmente cuando este herbicida es aplicado como una formulación microencapsulada, en particular cuando es aplicado en preemergencia o en preemergencia retardada. También se proporcionan plantas de arroz producidas mediante estos métodos y semillas producidas por dichas plantas de arroz.
