Abstract

Métodos para reutilización de operaciones de recuperación de hidrocarburos térmica donde el yacimiento, que ha sido previamente tratado con vapor para la movilización de hidrocarburos, se trata adicionalmente con un oxidante para inducir una o más reacciones de craqueo térmico (termólisis), gasificación, cambio agua-gas y reacciones de acuatermólisis para generar gas de síntesis dentro del yacimiento, cuyo gas de síntesis o sus componentes constituyentes pueden luego ser producidos a la superficie.
