Abstract

Se relaciona con un cartucho que comprende una base rectangular y cuatro paredes laterales que forman una cavidad dentro de la cual pueden colocarse una bateria o una pluralidad de pilas individuales, ya sea primarias o secundarias. El cartucho puede asegurarse a un aparato eléctrico por medio de un mecanismo de traba. Alternativamente, el cartucho puede formar parte integral del aparato. En una primera realización, una pluralidad de pilas pueden ubicarse de modo que sus contactos positivos y negativos estén ubicados contra un grupo de áreas de contacto positiva y negativa ubicadas a lo largo de las paredes laterales primera y segunda. La primera realización comprende optativamente un brazo de contacto, que puede ubicarse sustancialmente paralelo a la segunda pared lateral, que incluye una pluralidad de áreas de contacto positivas correspondientes y enfrentadas a las áreas de contacto negativas ubicadas sobre la segunda pared lateral. Una pluralidad de pilas, que tienen una longitud menor que las pilas ubicables entre las paredes laterales primera y segunda, pueden colocarse entre el brazo de contacto y la segunda pared lateral.
