Abstract

Un procediento para mezclar un fluido bombeable que comprende particulas sólidas finamente divididas que tienen una dimensión de partícula promedio menor que 1mm y un líquido adecuado para un alimento o bebida, que comprende las etapas de: alimentar el fluido bombeable a través de una entrada al interior de una cámara de mezclado limitada por paredes de frente primera y segunda y una pared lateral periférica, las paredes primera y segunda están formadas por un par de discos espaciados con sus frentes en oposición paralelos, el primer disco es un disco estacionario y el segundo disco es un disco rotatorio adaptado para girar alrededor de su eje longitudinal, cada disco está provisto con picos que se extienden transversalmente a partir de sus frentes opuestos dentro del espacio entre los discos, los picos del disco estacionario están dispuestos en relación interdigital con los picos del disco rotatorio; hacer girar el disco rotatorio para mezclar el fluido bombeable; y remover el fluido bombeable mezclado de la cámara de mezclado a través de una salida centrífugamente colocada de la entrada.A process for mixing a pumpable fluid comprising finely divided solid particles having an average particle dimension less than 1mm and a liquid suitable for a food or beverage, comprising the steps of: feeding the pumpable fluid through an inlet to the interior of a mixing chamber limited by first and second front walls and a peripheral side wall, the first and second walls are formed by a pair of discs spaced apart with their opposite fronts parallel, the first disc is a stationary disc and the second disc is a rotating disc adapted to rotate about its longitudinal axis, each disc is provided with peaks that extend transversely from their opposite fronts into the space between the discs, the peaks of the stationary disc are arranged in interdigital relationship with the peaks of the rotating disc; spinning the rotating disk to mix the pumpable fluid; and removing the mixed pumpable fluid from the mixing chamber through a centrifugally placed outlet from the inlet.
