Abstract
El invento se refiere a páptidos de cadena sencilla que tienen actividad de insulina, útiles para el tratamiento de la diabetes, a compuestos de nucleótidos que codifican dichos péptidos a vectores que comprenden dichos compuestos de nucleótidos y a células transformadas con dichos vectores. Especialmente se refiere a un compuesto polipeptídico de fórmula (1) b-BP-a(1) en la que: b es la cadena de B de insulina o uno de sus análogos funcionales; a es la cadena A de insulina o uno de sus análogos funcionales; y BP es un péptido de puente aproximadamente 10 a aproximadamente 14 aminoácidos.The invention relates to single chain peptides having insulin activity, useful for the treatment of diabetes, to nucleotide compounds encoding said peptides to vectors comprising said nucleotide compounds and to cells transformed with said vectors. It especially refers to a polypeptide compound of formula (1) b-BP-a (1) in which: b is the B chain of insulin or one of its functional analogues; a is the insulin A chain or one of its functional analogues; and BP is a bridge peptide from about 10 to about 14 amino acids.
