Abstract
La invención corresponde a una estructura de material absorbente para la absorción de líquidos y a un método de elaboración de dicha estructura de material. Además la invención muestra un uso conveniente de la estructura de material y proporciona un artículo desechable absorbente que comprende una estructura de material de acuerdo con la invención. La estructura de material absorbente de acuerdo con la invención tiene la forma de una espuma flexible con cavidades abiertas y que tienen propiedades altamente absorbentes con la ayuda de grupos iónicos que han sido creados en la estructura de material por medio de la hidrólisis. La estructura de material de acuerdo con la invención está destinada principalmente para el uso en los artículos desechables absorbentes tales como pañales para bebes, protectores de incontinencia, y productos para la igiene de la mujer, pero también aconsejable para el uso en otros artículos absorbentes, tales como para diferentes materiales de limpieza, vendajes y otros productos similares.The invention corresponds to an absorbent material structure for the absorption of liquids and to a method of manufacturing said material structure. Furthermore the invention shows a convenient use of the material structure and provides an absorbent disposable article comprising a material structure according to the invention. The absorbent material structure according to the invention is in the form of a flexible foam with open cavities and having highly absorbent properties with the help of ionic groups which have been created in the material structure by hydrolysis. The material structure according to the invention is primarily intended for use in absorbent disposable items such as baby diapers, incontinence pads, and women's hygiene products, but also advisable for use in other absorbent items, such as for different cleaning materials, bandages and other similar products.
