Abstract

The use of the adhesive strip along the adjacent edges of the first sheet in the card book makes it possible to create a properly shaped pocket to store and protect the card. Preferred adhesives for the strip include polyvinyl ethylene latex, polyvinyl acetate, other acrylics, and copolymers thereof. The preferred adhesive is a polyvinyl acetate copolymer latex with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of about temperature or less.
