Abstract

The purpose of the invention is a mini-sauna, which is so small in size that it can be placed even in small residences, and which is intended for those who, due to lack of space, cannot build a sauna with a standard area. According to the present invention, it is a mini-sauna with an end wall platform, which is the simplest and most common construction and which is especially suitable for a small sauna and meets the needs of a small family. The mini-sauna includes a glass sauna door, a two-step sauna platform, wooden side walls, back wall, ceiling and floor and an electric sauna heater. Saving space is primarily ensured by the arrangement of the 2 kW electric sauna heater, which is located under the sauna platform.

Description

 Technical field

The invention belongs to the field of saunas, more specifically steam rooms, and relates to a mini-sauna intended for private houses, apartments and other places where a sauna is desired but there is insufficient space for construction.

State of the art

SI9400212 (A) is known, which relates to a foldable mini-sauna, which includes a back wall, side walls, floor and ceiling and has a seating rack placed in the middle. It functions like a Finnish sauna and can be used after intensive work or sports. The design of the foldable mini-sauna allows the sauna to be used effectively in a small multi-purpose room, e.g. a bathroom. The sauna can be folded after use and takes up very little space when folded. The disadvantage of the invention is the lack of a heater, i.e. the heating element is a low-power infrared heater, which does not emit as much heat as, for example, an electrically powered sauna heater. Also, steam cannot be thrown onto the infrared heater.

Various folding saunas are known from the prior art, with which the space required for a sauna can be reduced. Document KR 20100084008 A discloses a folding sauna, which includes a fixed body part and a folding part. The folding part consists of several pieces attached to each other. With the help of hinges, a part of the entire sauna structure can be folded parallel to the fixed body part, so that the sauna takes up considerably less space in the storage position than in the service position. However, a disadvantage of such a structure is the complex construction of the folding part, which makes changing the sauna to the service position considerably laborious and complicated. In addition, such a structure has several joints between the parts, which also act as thermal leakage points, since they are difficult or even impossible to insulate.

The advantage of the invention is that, unlike other small saunas, it does not have to be constantly assembled and disassembled. This saves time and effort and also eliminates the aforementioned drawback of heat loss at the joints.

Another advantage of the mini sauna according to the invention is the solution according to which the mini sauna, despite its small size, contains a sauna heater. The sauna heater is installed under the sauna platform, which significantly saves the area required for the steam room.

To use the heat more efficiently and quickly, the steam room must be relatively small. The invention also provides this advantage.

The essence of the invention

The aim of the invention is to provide a mini-sauna that is so small in size that it can be placed in small residential buildings and is intended for those who, due to lack of space, cannot build a sauna with a standard area. According to the invention, it is a mini-sauna with an end wall platform, which is the simplest and most common construction and is particularly suitable for a small sauna and meets the needs of a small family.

The mini sauna includes a sauna door, side walls, back wall, floor and ceiling. The mini sauna also includes a two-step sauna platform made of wooden boards, the lower surface of the upper step of which is additionally covered with stainless steel sheet metal to prevent the movement of hot air through the platform. The mini sauna also includes an electric sauna heater, which is placed under the two-step sauna platform and a stainless steel container, which is attached to the upper step and side wall and is connected by a pipe connection to a copper pipe that runs from the container to the sauna heater and into which water can be poured, which is directed from the container to the electric heater through the pipe. The mini sauna also includes an air duct that runs inside the back wall of the sauna.

Space saving is ensured primarily by the placement of the electric sauna heater, which is located under the sauna platform.

The mini sauna 1 includes a glass sauna door 2, a wooden two-step sauna platform 3 covering the entire surface of the room, the upper step 4 of which is intended for sitting, side walls 5, a rear wall 6 located opposite the sauna door 2 located in the front wall, a floor 7 and a ceiling 8 consisting of wooden boards, a stainless steel sheet 9 located on the underside of the upper step 3, an electric sauna heater 10 with a power of 2 kW located under the platform, which is a wall-mounted heating element, an air duct 11 located above the sauna heater 10 and in the rear wall 6, and a stainless steel container attached to one of the side walls 5 with a longer side and the upper step with a shorter side, which is open at the top and connected to the bottom with a copper pipe that runs to the heater 10 and when water is poured in from the open part, the water from the sauna platform 3 reaches the sauna heater 10 directly. The air duct 11 located inside the rear wall 6 ensures natural air circulation, since the air moves in the air duct 11 upwards due to the chimney effect.

The air duct 11 located in the rear wall 6 runs from the floor 7 to the ceiling 8. The air duct 11 has an inlet on the floor 8. Stainless steel sheet metal is also installed in the wall 6 located behind the sauna heater 10 to prevent the wooden boards from overheating. Stainless steel sheet metal is a good material for rooms with high humidity levels, as it does not corrode.

There must be enough oxygen in the sauna. To ensure this, there is an air exhaust duct 14 in the ceiling 8 of the mini sauna 1, through which the air exchange is regulated. Replacement air enters the mini sauna 1 through an air opening 15, up to 10 cm high, left under the sauna door 2.

Going to the sauna is a relaxing and enjoyable activity and this activity has health benefits. You could even say that the sauna is a part of the Nordic culture. Unfortunately, not every home has a sauna and often the reason for this is the lack of space. A classic sauna must have a sauna platform where you can sit and take a steam bath and a sauna heater, or heating element, which ensures the necessary temperature for taking a steam bath. Therefore, the sauna must have enough space to accommodate both the sauna platform and the sauna heater. Despite its small size and compactness, the invention has both.

It is clear to a person skilled in the art that the scope of protection of the invention disclosed in the claims is not limited to the presented embodiments, but also covers solutions that differ from the described ones in features that are not essential to the essence of the invention.

A mini sauna (1), comprising a sauna door (2), side walls (5), rear wall (6), floor (7) and ceiling (8), and characterised in that it comprises: - a two-step sauna platform (3) made of wooden boards, the lower surface of the upper step (4) of which is additionally covered with a stainless steel sheet (9) to prevent the movement of hot air through the platform, - an electric sauna heater (10) placed under the two-step sauna platform (3), - a stainless steel vessel attached to the upper step (4) and side wall (5) and connected by a pipe connection to a copper pipe running from the vessel to the sauna heater. - an air duct (11) to ensure natural air circulation. 2. Mini sauna (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that when pouring water into a stainless steel container, the water is directed to the sauna heater through a copper pipe. 3. A mini sauna according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the air duct (11) runs inside the rear wall (6) of the sauna (1).
