Definitions
- the container according to the invention can be used wherever liquid test samples, such as urine samples, are transported and have to be tested for urine sugar.
- the following invention is intended to create a container, in particular for urine samples, for medical urine examination, which can be used economically and effortlessly in the production and which can also be accommodated in a space-saving manner, and which is also easy to install of names, dates and the like allows, at the same time the container is provided with a tight lid part which is easily removable from the vessel for performing the urine examination and which at the same time carries out tests, e.g. can be used for the enzymatic detection of urine sugar.
- a container for receiving, in particular urine samples, for medical urine examination which according to the invention consists of a cup-like container body made of plastics or other suitable materials with a horizontal running in the container opening area and angled outwards Edge section with a term, horizontal support surface and by a lid-like closure arranged on the circumferential container edge from a blank made of plastic film or liquid-impermeable cardboard, cardboard, paper or the like.
- a receptacle for urine samples is created which is easy to handle and which, after receiving the urine sample, can be closed in a liquid-tight manner without this
- Screw closures or other suitable locking devices are used.
- the design of the lid-like closure with a self-adhesive coating makes it possible, after the protective sheet covering the adhesive layer has been peeled off, to place the lid-like closure on the circumferential edge of the container and to glue it firmly, the hand habitation of the lid-like closure by the two oppositely arranged handle tabs on the blank forming the lid-shaped closure is much easier.
- the tabs formed opposite one another on the lid-like closure tight tightening and fastening of the lid-like closure on the peripheral edge of the container is possible, so that a liquid-tight seal between the peripheral container edge and the lid-like closure is achieved.
- a container filled with a urine sample and sealed in this way can be easily transported without the risk of liquid flowing out of the container.
- the cup-like design for taking urine samples is particularly advantageous, since several containers can be stacked in a space-saving manner.
- the container wall with a color change coating, a test strip or the like. provided that comes into contact with the contents of the container and thus a determination of specific components in the urine, e.g. Urine sugar, in particular, gives the diabetic at the same time the opportunity to carry out a urine sugar test and, when using a correspondingly colored reference strip on the container wall, also to determine the urine sugar content from the color intensity of the color change of the test strip.
- Urine sugar gives the diabetic at the same time the opportunity to carry out a urine sugar test and, when using a correspondingly colored reference strip on the container wall, also to determine the urine sugar content from the color intensity of the color change of the test strip.
- the doctor can see at a glance whether urine sugar is present or not. If suitable test substances are used, other tests can also be carried out.
- the blank of the lid-like closure can have three or a larger number of handle straps which are arranged opposite one another at a distance from one another or with an even number of handle straps.
- the wall of the container body consists of opaque Materials and has a strip-shaped section of transparent materials running in the longitudinal direction of the container as a viewing window.
- the lid-like closure on its top has, according to a development of the invention according to claim 4, a peelable blank made of inscribable materials held on the blank by means of a pressure-sensitive adhesive connection, with a grip tab.
- a comparison test coating, comparison strip or the like in the area of the window-like visible surface is arranged.
- the farm envelope coating, the test strip or the like. formed over the entire height of the container body on the container wall.
- the color change coating, the test strip or the like. be arranged on the inside of the lid-like closure. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the drawing:
- Fig. 1 shows a urine sample container, partly in a vertical section, partly in view.
- Fig. 2 shows the container in a view from above.
- the container for receiving urine samples consists of a cup-like container body 10 made of plastics or other suitable materials.
- Plastic foils are preferably used as the material for the production of the cup-like container body, which enable the container body to be produced in the deep-drawing process.
- those plastic films are used that have sufficient inherent rigidity.
- a section 40 extending in the longitudinal direction of the container body, which consists of transparent materials is advantageously formed in the container wall, so that it is possible to control the amount of the cup content when the container is closed.
- a container body 10 designed in this way can consist, for example, of transparent plastic film.
- the outer wall surface of a container body designed in this way is then provided with an opaque paint application. Only the viewing window 40 is then left out of the paint application.
- the cup-like container body 10 has a circumferential, horizontal edge section 11 which delimits the container opening 12 and is dimensioned so wide that an adequate one on the upper side of the edge section 11 Support surface 11a is formed (Fig. 1).
- the cup-like container body 10 is provided with a lid-like closure 20, which consists of plastic film or liquid-impermeable cardboard, paper or the like, the cardboard, paper, cardboard or the like. can also be provided with a plastic lamination. It is essential that the lid-like closure 20 consists of liquid-impermeable materials.
- the surface of the lid-like closure 20 facing the container opening 12 has a coating 30 made of a self-adhesive adhesive so that the lid-like closure 20 after being placed on the peripheral edge portion 11 of the container body 10 and after exerting a slight pressure in the edge region of the container is connected to the peripheral edge portion 11 of the container body 10 that a liquid-tight seal between the ceiling! Arti gene closure 20 and the peripheral edge portion 11 of the container body is achieved, wherein due to the coating 30 an effortless peeling of the lid-like closure 20 from the peripheral edge portion 11 of the container body 10 is possible if the urine sample located in the interior of the container body 10 should be removed from the container.
- the blank 21 of the lid-like closure 20 has at least two oppositely arranged grip tabs 22 and 22a, which are dimensioned so long that they protrude beyond the peripheral edge section 11 of the container body ( Fig. 2).
- the blank 21 has a diameter which corresponds approximately to the outer diameter of the peripheral edge section 1 of the container body 10, the two grip tabs 22, 22a are elongated.
- the blank 21 it is also possible to give the blank 21 a diameter which is larger than the diameter of the peripheral edge portion 11 of the container body 10, so that the protruding edge portion of the blank then
- Arti gene closure 20 is also provided with more than two tabs The tabs are then arranged at equal distances from each other. In those cases in which an even number of handle straps is assumed, the handle straps are arranged such that two handle straps are opposite each other.
- the self-adhesive coating 30 of the blank 21 is provided by means of a protective sheet, not shown in the drawing. This enables the blank 21 to be labeled effortlessly before the protective sheet is pulled off and placed on the peripheral edge portion 11 of the container body 10.
- the lid-like closure 20 can be provided with an additional inscribable blank 50 which is held on the blank 21 by means of a self-adhesive coating, so that this inscribable blank 50 can be removed from the lid-like closure 20.
- the blank 50 has a slightly angled grip tab 51. This embodiment enables the doctor to remove the labeled blank 50 from the lid-like closure 20 after the urine sample has been taken, so that this labeled blank 50 can then be glued to corresponding examination vessels or included in the medical records.
- FIG. 1 shows, on the inside of the container body wall is a color change coating, a test strip or the like. 60 attached, which comes into contact with the contents of the container and similar to indicator paper in the presence of, for example, urine sugar with a color change from yellow to blue when the coating consists of glucose oxidase and peroxidase for urine sugar determination.
- This color change coating, test strips or the like is attached to the inside of the container body wall, the coating or the strip 60 being able to extend over the entire height of the container body 10.
- the coating or the strip 60 is also made of transparent plastics.
- a window-like visible surface 65 is formed in the container body wall, in the area of which the coating or the test strip 60 is then applied to the container body wall.
- the color change coating 60 can be screen-printed on the container body wall.
- a correspondingly colored comparison strip 70 can be attached to the outside of the container body wall in the area of the coating or the test strip 60. The urine sugar content can then be determined from the color intensity of the test strip.
