Definitions

  • the invention relates to an ammunition channel for feeding the ammunition to a weapon (4) which can be pivoted about an elevation axis (E), with two end parts, one of which can be pivoted with the weapon (4), with a plurality of pivotably arranged between the two end parts Slats (L 1 -L n ) through which tension and torsion spring elements are guided.
  • the lamellae arranged side by side have interlocking projections or depressions, by means of which the lamellae are superimposed in a bayonet-like manner.
  • the lamellae are connected to one another by two continuous, flexible, spring-mounted or spring-shaped elements.
  • the invention solves the problem of creating simple, easy-to-produce slats.
  • an ammunition channel 1 is shown, the end parts of which are formed by a wall 2 on the one hand and by a rotatably mounted disc 3 on the other.
  • the wall 2 is connected in a manner not shown, for example with a cartridge magazine or with another channel section leading to the magazine.
  • the disc 3 is connected to a weapon 4 and can be pivoted with it about an elevation axis E.
  • a shaft 5 is fastened in the wall 2 and mounted in the disc 3 coaxially to the elevation axis E of the weapon.
  • the ammunition channel 1 is formed by a plurality of lamellae L, to L " , which are pivotably mounted with their openings 6 on the shaft 5.
  • the lamellae L 1 to L n are each provided with a passage opening for the ammunition 3.
  • Elastic elements 13 which are fastened to the end parts, ie to the wall 2 and to the pivotable disk 3, in a manner not shown, are guided through the corresponding openings 10 of all the slats L, to L " .
  • the passage opening 7 of the lamella L is widened in the central area according to FIG. 3 and is provided with an axial guide surface 8 for cartridge belts.
  • the guide surface 8 ensures that the cartridge tip never touches the fins.
  • the guide surface 8 (Fig. 4) is formed by a piece of material that has a greater hardness than the cartridge belts themselves. A piece of hardened steel is advantageously poured into the material of the fins, which are made of plastic, for example.
  • the wall 2 is provided with an inlet opening 14 (FIG. 1), the longitudinal axis of which is advantageously inclined to the horizontal plane at an exit angle corresponding approximately to the mean elevation angle. From Fig. 2 the position of the first lamella L I can be seen, the passage opening 7 is practically continuously inclined at the same starting angle as the inlet opening 14, not shown in Fig. 2.
  • the fastening points for the elements 13 on the wall 2 correspond to the arrangement of the Openings 10 for a slat L inclined at the same starting angle
  • the disc 3 is provided with an outlet opening 15 (FIG. 1), the shape of which corresponds to the through opening 7 of the slats L.
  • the fastening points for the elements 13 on the pane 3 with respect to the outlet opening 15 are also distributed, all at the same distance from the elevation axis.
  • the disc 3 can be given away in both directions of rotation together with the weapon 4 which can be pivoted about the elevation axis E.
  • the pivoting of the disk 3 is transmitted to the lamellae L n , L n-1 ...
  • the passage opening 7 of the last lamella L being inclined practically at the same angle as the outlet opening 15 of FIG Disc 3.
  • the elements 13 are preferably designed to be elastic or resilient in the entire area, for example can Gum ribbons or hoses, prestressed tension and torsion springs, etc. can be used as elements 13 (FIG. 6).
  • previously known flexible means can also be elastically prestressed between the end parts of the ammunition channel, as is shown schematically in FIG. 5.
  • 13a is the flexible
  • 13b the elastic fastening part of the elements 13.
  • FIG. 2 shows an extreme pivoting of the last lamella L n by an angle a with respect to the first lamella L, corresponding to the maximum elevation; an extreme pivoting of the same corresponding to the minimum elevation by an angle ⁇ in the other direction of rotation is indicated by dash-dotted lines.
  • 30 slats L are used.
  • An output angle of 30 ° was selected for the elevation range from -5 ° to + 85 °.
  • the choice of the starting angle according to the invention brings significant advantages. In this way, a cartridge feed is implemented in the smallest of spaces, ie with the minimum necessary channel length.
  • the necessary distance between the two end parts of the ammunition channel (wall 2, disc 3) depends on the torsion of the cartridge belts. For example, it is entirely possible to adapt the starting angle to an extreme elevation angle (for example -5 °) and to pivot the slats L, to L n only in one direction of rotation.
  • the necessary distance between the two end parts which depends on the torsion of the belt, could be halved by the choice of the starting angle according to the invention, since the torsion of the cartridge belts is optimally utilized in both directions of rotation. Since the twistability is slightly different in both directions of rotation, the starting angle also deviates somewhat from the mean elevation angle (30 ° instead of 40 °).
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 three pairs of elements 13 are provided. However, only three individual or even a different number of elements 13 can be selected, depending on the elasticity of the elements 13 used, care being taken to ensure uniform force transmission or favorable loading of the slats. The fact that all the elements 13 are arranged at the same radial distance from the shaft 5 ensures that the individual elements 13 are stressed evenly.
