Abstract

Das Sitzmöbel, vorzugsweise ein Polstermöbel, besteht aus einem Sitzteil (1) und einer in bezug zu diesem Sitzteil (1) längs Führungen (4) höhenverstellbaren Rückenlehne (2).
Um die Rückenlehne (2) aus einer ästhetisch anspre­ chenden niedrigen Tieflage in eine der Forderung nach Bequemlichkeit entsprechende, beliebig wählbare und für die Benutzung des Möbels bestgeeignete Hochlage verstel­ len zu können, ist ein Antrieb zur stufenlosen Verstellung der Rückenlehne (2) längs ihrer Führungen (4) vorgesehen.
Der von Hand aus betätigbare stufenlose Antrieb besteht aus einer Kurbel (9), einer den Sitzteil (1) durchsetzender Antriebswelle (10) mit einem Ritzel (11) und einer Zahnstan­ ge (12). Die Kurbel (9) bzw. das ihr zugeordnete Ende der Antriebswelle (10) kann im vorderen Bereich des Sitzteiles (1) in einem unterhalb der Sitzfläche befindlichen Hohlraum (16) untergebracht sein.
