Claims (4)

1. Commande pour l'embrayage et/ou le frein sur l'arbre principal d'une presse, comprenant un vérin ou cylindre d'embrayage (5) respectivement un cylindre de frein (9) s'opposant à l'effort de freinage, auquel peuvent être appliquées sélectivement au moins deux pressions différentes, jusqu'à l'instant où la vitesse de rotation de service ou l'arrêt désiré n est atteint, par au moins une soupape (3) commandée avant cet instant, l'une de ces pressions correspondant au moins approximativement à la pression maximale d'embrayage pM ou à la détente au moins à peu près complète pO et l'autre étant une pression partielle pT supérieure à la pression de réponse pA de l'embrayage ou inférieure à la contre-pression annulant la pression de réponse pA du frein, caractérisée en ce que, pendant l'opération d'embrayage ou de freinage, après avoir atteint une pression intermédiaire pZ, la pression appliquée p est amenée à la pression partielle pT, avant que la vitesse de service ou l'arrêt n ne soit obtenu, et y est maintenue pendant un laps de temps qui dure au moins jusqu'à ce que cette vitesse ou l'arrêt soit obtenu, la pression intermédiaire pZ étant comprise entre une valeur d'au moins 40% au-dessus de la pression partielle pT et la pression maximale d'embrayage pM dans le cas d'une opération d'embrayage et entre une valeur d'au moins 40% au-dessous de la pression partielle pT et la détente complète pO dans le cas d'une opération de freinage.
2. Commande selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un appareil de commande dans le temps, actionné par une vitesse ou un angle de rotation ou en fonction du temps ou de la pression, pendant la durée d'enclenchement duquel la pression partielle pT est appliquée.
3. Commande selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le cylindre d'embrayage (5) ou le cylindre de frein (9) est précédé d'une soupape réductrice de pression (3) à action proportionelle, qui applique les pressions p conformément à une commande programmée.
4. Application de la commande selon une des revendications précédentes à un combiné embrayage-frein prévu sur l'arbre principal d'une presse et dans lequel un cylindre (13) forme à la fois le cylindre d'embrayage et le cylindre de frein, dans lequel est guidé un piston (14) qui agit alternativement sur l'embrayage et sur le frein.
