Claims (2)

1°) Etrier avec un arceau (2) en forme de U, sur lequel est dispose un passe-courroie (1), avec un repose-pied (7) dont une extrémité est articulée par une articulation à charnière (5, 6) avec l'une (13) des branches de l'arceau (2), tandis que l'autre extrémité de ce repose-pied est susceptible d'être reliée à l'autre branche (14) de l'arceau (2) au moyen d'un dispositif de maintien amovible (15), et avec un dispositif de déclenchement (26) pour le dispositif de maintien (15), et comportant un arceau de déclenchement (9) en forme de U dont les deux branches (21, 22) sont respectivement montées, au moyen chacune d'une articulation à tourillon (23), sur les branches (13, 14) de l'arceau (2) de façon à pouvoir pivoter autour d'un axe de pivotement horizontal (3), étrier caractérisé en ce qu'un tenon de maintien (10), faisant partie du dispositif de maintien (15), est disposé sur le repose-pied (7), ce tenon étant tourné vers l'une (14) des branches de l'arceau (2) et s'étendant, dans la position de fermeture du repose-pied (7), dans une certaine mesure le long de la partie d'extrémité (16) de cette branche (14), les tronçons longitudinaux, se recouvrant mutuellement, de ces deux pièces étant contigus les uns aux autres parallèlement à la trajectoire de la branche voisine (21) de l'arceau de déclenchement (9), tandis que sur les tronçons longitudinaux se recouvrant mutuellement, sur le tenon de maintien (10) et sur la branche de l'arceau (14, 16), il est respectivement prévu un évidement (8, 8'), ces évidements étant alignés l'un sur l'autre en direction de la trajectoire de la branche voisine (21) de l'arceau de déclenchement (9), l'arceau de déclenchement (9) étant disposé dans le même plan que l'arceau (2) et à l'intérieur de celuici, la branche (19), voisine du dispositif de maintien (15), sur l'arceau de déclenchement (9), étant prolongée vers l'extérieur au-delà de l'articulation à tourillon (21) et comportant à son extrémité une languette de retenue (24) qui, dans la position de fermeture de l'étrier, s'étend à l'intérieur des deux évidements (8, 8') dutenon de maintien (10) de la branche (14, 16), cependant qu'entre une branche (14) de l'arceau (2) et une branche (21) de l'arceau de déclenchement (9) est disposé un arrêt élastique (4) agissant dans les deux sens.
2°) Etrier selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, des deux tronçons longitudinaux se recouvrant mutuellement, l'un est en forme de fourchette dont les branches (17, 18) sont de préférence orientées parallélement l'une à l'autre, tandis que l'autre tronçon revêt la forme d'un appendice (16) en forme de languette, ajusté à l'évidement (11) dans le tronçon longitudinal (10) en forme de fourchette.
