Abstract

Bei einem Arbeitsstuhl, beispielsweise Bürostuhl, bei dem die Sitzplatte und unabhänging davon der Rückenleh­ nenträger in der Neigung verstellbar ist, liegt die Schwenk­ achse zwischen dem Sitzträger und der Sitzplatte für die Neigungsverstellung der Sitzplatte in Nähe des vorderen Endes der Sitzplatte, und die Gasfeder für die Neigungsver­ stellung der Sitzplatte greift im hinteren Bereich der Sitz­ platte an dieser an. Vorteilhaft ist die Arretierung der Gas­ druckfeder für die Neigungsverstellung der Sitzplatte auf die Dauer ausschaltbar, so daß die Sitzplatte dann etwa um ihre Vorderkante frei pendeln kann.
