Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for fixing the spacing of facade panels or facade supports to structural parts by means of dowels which can be anchored in the structural part and to a supporting body which can be fixed in a passage opening of the facade panels or facade supports.
  • the invention further relates to a support body and a dowel for carrying out the method.
  • a fastening arrangement with dowels is known from DE-OS 27 12 670 for fastening spacing of facade panels or facade supports.
  • an expansion screw is driven for anchoring purposes.
  • the dowel fixed in this way in the building part is surmounted by the rear section of the expansion screw, the facade panel being fixed to this section.
  • said section projects through the facade panel, which in turn is fixed to the screw head via a support body which is seated in a passage opening of the facade panel.
  • a considerable disadvantage of this fastening arrangement is that the correct distance between the facade panels or facade supports and the structural part cannot be set. This problem arises from different anchoring conditions for the anchor, such as the diameter ratio of the anchor / locating hole and the strength of the structural part. As a result, the expansion screw must be screwed into the dowel at different depths in order to achieve sufficient anchoring. The screw head, via which the facade panels or facade supports are kept at a distance, therefore also comes to lie at different distances from the building part.
  • a fastening arrangement is known, which, however, is only suitable for the spacing fastening of relatively thick-walled facade supports.
  • a dowel is used here, which consists of a front anchoring section and a rear holding section for the facade beams. The dowel protrudes into a passage opening in the facade support and has ring shoulders to support it. After setting the correct spacing of the facade supports on the structural part, which is done by inserting the anchoring section more or less deeply into a receiving bore of the structural part, an expansion screw is screwed into the essentially tubular dowel to anchor it.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a method for variable spacing thin-walled facade panels or facade supports.
  • the object is achieved in that the support body is first fixed in the passage opening of the facade panels or facade support, then the dowel is connected to the support body and the anchor is then anchored in the structural part.
  • a support body into the through openings of the facade panels or facade supports, into which the holding section of a dowel is inserted, allows the fastening arrangement to be adapted to thin-walled facade panels or facade supports, by using appropriately designed support elements for different wall thicknesses or profile standards of the facade panels or facade supports.
  • the dowel After the dowel has been connected to the support body, it is anchored in the structural part in a conventional manner.
  • it is, for example, an essentially tubular dowel with anchoring section, which can be anchored in a receiving bore of the structural part by screwing in an expansion screw.
  • the desired distance of the facade panels or facade beams from the building part is set.
  • a support body is also proposed, the support sides with stop shoulders for the Has facade panels or facade supports.
  • the stop shoulders are supported on the surface of the facade panels or facade supports in the area of the two exits of the passage opening.
  • the support body is hollow-cylindrical and the stop shoulders expediently have a ring shape. If, on the other hand, the passage opening is formed by a longitudinal slot, as is particularly the case with facade supports made of hollow sections, then essentially cuboid support bodies with strip-shaped stop shoulders are suitable.
  • the stop shoulders are preferably formed by the two end faces.
  • a secure, form-fitting hold of the support body in the cavity can be achieved by the abutment shoulders resting against the opposing web surfaces of the hollow profile.
  • the stop shoulders are advantageously formed by the mutually facing flanks of an annular groove.
  • the support bodies which are expediently made of plastic, into the passage opening, they are designed to be radially elastic, which is achieved, for example, by a longitudinal slit in an essentially hollow cylindrical support body.
  • the stop shoulder of one support side is arranged on radially resilient segments of the support body. This makes it easier to insert the support body into the passage opening of the facade panels or facade supports. During the insertion process, the segments spring together so that the stop shoulders can be easily pushed through the passage opening.
  • a further advantage for the assembly of the support bodies is achieved if stops are provided for guiding and achieving a secure hold of the facade panels or facade supports.
  • stops which protrude into the passage opening after the support body has been introduced, provide a security against displacement.
  • the support body thus maintains its functionally correct position for the passage opening, regardless of the position of the respective attachment point.
  • a locking device is provided.
  • the locking device can be designed on the dowel side as a peripheral sharp-edged flange. To lock it with the support body, this has a formally corresponding locking groove. A more force-capable latching is achieved, however, by two annular shoulders which are arranged at a distance from one another on the neck section, at least one of which rests against the support body.
  • a cover cap for example a lid, is expediently placed on the support body after the fastening process has been completed.
  • This can advantageously consist of plastic.
  • FIG. 1 shows a facade support 1, which is fastened at a distance from a structural part 2.
  • the facade support 1 serves to support or hold a facade panel 3, which is connected to the facade support 1, for example by gluing, screwing or riveting (not shown).
  • a fastening arrangement is used to fasten the facade support 1, consisting of a support body denoted overall by 4 and a dowel denoted overall by 5, which can be anchored in the building part 2 by means of an expansion screw 6.
  • the assembly process is as follows: for the time being, the support body 4 is inserted into a passage opening 7 of the facade support 1. Of course, several such openings 7 are provided in the facade support 1, into which a support body 4 is also inserted.
  • the support body 4 has a bore 8 through which the dowel 5 is then inserted. This locks over annular shoulders 9, 11 with respect to the support body 4 and is thus also fixed with respect to the facade support 1.
  • the rear end portion of the dowel 5 has slots 12 distributed over the circumference, whereby the said end portion with the annular shoulders 9, 11 can be radially deflected in segments.
  • the facade support 1 equipped with supporting bodies 4 and dowels 5 is then brought into the correct spacing position from the building part 2, the front section of the dowels 5 coming to a greater or lesser depth in prefabricated receiving bores 13 of the building part 2.
  • the support body 4 is essentially of a hollow cone.
  • the conical surface 14 is matched to the clear cross section of the passage opening 7.
  • the support body 4 is divided into segments 16 which remain joined together via webs 17. Thanks to the slots 15, the support body 4 is radially resilient for its insertion process. Stop shoulders 18, 19 formed by end faces fix the support body 4 on the inner surfaces of the facade support 1 in and against the insertion direction.
  • An annular stop 21 protruding from the stop shoulder 18 against the direction of insertion engages in the passage opening 7 and creates lateral support.
  • facade supports 1 made of hollow profiles are also used, which have instead of round, slot-shaped through openings 7.
  • the essentially cuboid support body 22 is provided. This in turn consists of segments 23 which are connected to one another via a web 24. A bore 25 formed by both segments 23 enables the dowel 5 to be retracted. Stop shoulders 26, 27 are supported on the inside area of the facade support 1. Lateral hold is achieved by an annular stop 28 which projects into the longitudinal passage opening 7.
  • the support body 32 illustrated in FIG. 2a is in turn composed of individual segments 33 which are connected to one another in a resilient manner. Stop shoulders 35, 36 are formed by the flanks of a circumferential annular groove 34, on which the top and bottom of the facade support 31 are supported in the region of a round passage opening 37. A bore 38 in the support body 32 receives the dowel 5. The latter snaps into the support body 32 so that it cannot move, for which purpose the spring-mounted annular shoulders 9, 11 serve. An expansion screw 6 is again provided for fixing the dowel 5 in the structural part 2.
