Claims (2)

1. Dispositif de triage de pièces métalliques (1), en particulier de pièces de ferrailles, selon leur composition durant leur passage sur une bande transporteuse (3) sous laquelle est fixée, au voisinage de la face inférieure de la bande, une source (5) de rayons X ou de rayons isotopiques dont les rayons traversent la bande transporteuse pour atteindre les pièces métalliques, au moins un détecteur (6) étant prévu pour capter les rayons dégagés par les pièces métalliques (1), auquel est relié un calculateur qui analyse les signaux électriques engendrés par le détecteur (6) et commande des appareils de triage (7) disposée subséquemment, caractérisé par le fait que la bande transporteuse (3) est constituée de matière synthétique ou de caoutchouc et présente de petits ajours ou ouvertures, que la bande transporteuse (3) est cintrée transversalement à la direction longitudinale en forme de rigole, et que la source de rayons (5) et le détecteur (6) sont disposés sensiblement radialement à la courbure de la bande et émettent ou reçoivent respectivement les rayons en particulier dans cette direction.
2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les appareils de triage (7) disposés subséquemment présentent des dispositifs d'éjection et/ou des buses d'air pour le transport des pièces métalliques depuis la bande transporteuse (3).
