Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bed with a lying surface, with two parallel longitudinal side parts, two cross parts connecting them at the head and foot ends and a mattress support frame mounted therein with vertically adjustable cross members, the top of which form the mattress support surface, the lying surface being essentially adaptable to a spinal column longitudinal profile of a bed user is.
  • cross members of a support surface are mounted in such a way that they can adapt to a small extent to the back of a user, depending on the pressure acting on them. They adjust somewhat in height and also in their angular position. This low adaptability is often not enough, especially for people with spinal complaints.
  • a bed is known (US-A-2 391 746) which consists of a frame with two longitudinal side parts and two cross parts at the head and foot ends.
  • this frame there is a mattress support frame made of cross beams on which the mattress rests.
  • the cross members are designed to be vertically adjustable. This is achieved in that the cross members are substantially U-shaped, the cross struts represent the support surface for the mattress and the vertically downward legs, which are provided on both sides of the cross struts, are used for height adjustment and storage of the cross member.
  • the legs and thus the crossbeam are mounted in a double U-profile provided on the inside of the side parts, the three legs of which extend inwards parallel to the longitudinal extension of the bed from the side parts.
  • the two upper legs have rows of holes according to the arrangement of the cross members and are penetrated by the legs pointing downwards.
  • the bottom of the three legs of the double U-profile serves as a support for the legs of the cross member mounted in its holes.
  • the legs of the crossmember themselves have a number of cross holes arranged one above the other, through which a retaining pin can be inserted, as a result of which the insertion into the rows of holes in the double U profile is blocked.
  • the cross member can thus be individually adjusted to a desired height, so that the entire lying area z. B. is adaptable to a longitudinal spine profile.
  • the cross members In order to withstand these loads as well as those of a person sitting or sitting down on the lying surface, with the static being superimposed by a dynamic force, the cross members must be made of a high-strength material.
  • the area of the legs, in which the cross holes for height adjustment are made are extremely sensitive to bending and prone to kinking, especially since when the cross member is fully extended, it protrudes far beyond the general lying surface and is therefore exposed to greater loads, and also the Bending lever of the leg is very long, and almost all cross holes are arranged in this piece. Accordingly, the strength of the crossbeams must be designed so that they still have sufficient security against kinking or bending when fully extended. This security is absolutely necessary, since a crossbeam bent due to overstressing can no longer be adapted to the desired longitudinal profile of the spine, and as a result the therapeutic correction effect no longer has its original effect.
  • Deformed crossbeams therefore tend to have the opposite effect and are unusable for further use, especially since they can no longer be adjusted or can only be adjusted with difficulty.
  • the strength design for the extreme position leads to the fact that the cross members are oversized in the retracted position or the load capacity of the carrier material is not fully utilized.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a simple and cheap and finely adjustable construction of a bed which is easy to handle in the setting of the mattress support surface, the parts of the bed and the mattress support surface being produced from their function appropriate specific materials.
  • the side parts of the bed have recordings that are arranged in horizontal and vertical rows. These receptacles are used to define fastening devices for the cross beams designed as cross bars.
  • the cross bars which form the support surface for the mattress, are arranged between the side parts and fixed with their ends to the fastening devices and fixed in the axial direction.
  • the much lower load on the cross bars has the advantage that z. B. more flexible or less flexible rods can be used or materials such as plastics, rubber, metal or wood can be used. Wood is advantageously used as the material, and the crossbar is curved in its longitudinal direction, which supports the resilient property.
  • the cross section of the longitudinal bar can be circular, oval, square or rectangular or can have the shape of any other polygon.
  • the receptacles in the side parts are designed as holes.
  • the approximately pin-shaped ends of the cross bars or the ends of the cross bars provided with hook-shaped members can be inserted into the holes without further ado.
  • a continuation of the invention provides that the fastening members are arranged at the ends of the cross bars. These fastening devices can either engage directly in the receptacles of the side parts or can be connected to the fastening devices defined in these.
  • the fastening devices are formed from hooks or eyelets to be fixed in the receptacles, into which eyelets or hooks provided at the ends of the crossbars can be hung, so that an easy-to-use hook and eye connection between the side parts and the cross bars.
  • fastening devices are arranged in the receptacles of the side parts in which threaded rods are mounted. With this fastening device it is possible to adjust the height at a later stage the crossbars attached to the side parts if the rough adjustment should be corrected by fixing the fastening device. All you have to do is turn the threaded rod to raise or lower the crossbar.
  • FIG. 1 Another version of a bed with a lying surface with two parallel longitudinal side parts, two cross parts connecting them at the head and foot ends and a mattress support frame with longitudinal bars, cross bars and vertically adjustable cross beams, the top of which forms the contact surface of the mattress, the lying surface essentially being on a spine longitudinal profile of a bed user is adaptable and the longitudinal spars are provided with longitudinally arranged rows of fastening devices for fixing supports supporting the cross members is known from US-A-2,391,746.
  • the supports are designed as threaded rods with the fastening members receiving the cross members designed as horizontal cross bars and the threaded rods are mounted in the fastening devices designed as a threaded hole or in the brackets designed as vertically fixing the threaded rods, and that by rotating the threaded rods Height of the fasteners for the cross bars is adjustable.
  • the threaded rods can be moved vertically by rotation, as a result of which the transverse rods mounted on the upper side of the threaded rods are moved upwards or downwards.
  • the threaded rods are secured against untimely rotation by means of lock nuts.
  • the threaded rods are arranged with their ends between two brackets fixed one above the other on the longitudinal spars, and that the fastening member receiving one end of the transverse rod is designed as a slide which can be moved axially on the threaded rod.
  • the height of a slide-like nut and thus the position of the crossbars is set via the rotating threaded rod. In particular, this enables simple subsequent correction of the height setting.
  • a simple adjustment is achieved above all in that the threaded rod can be rotated by means of a servo motor.
  • the threaded rod can be locked in any position using the servo motor or lock nuts.
  • the crossbars are supported in the center via support supports on a pneumatically actuated pressure cushion.
  • the pressure pad can be applied hydraulically, pneumatically and mechanically.
  • the pressure padding ensures a largely automatic adaptation of the contact surface.
  • the invention further provides a method for adapting the lying surface of the bed according to the invention using a profile scanning device according to the invention.
  • the successive process steps consist in bringing a long side of the profile scanning device into contact with a long side serving as a lying side of a bed user, so that the long side of the body of the profile scanning device is deformed to form a rigid negative impression of the longitudinal profile line of the bed user, that the profile scanning device is then deformed
  • Bed base frame is arranged below the cross bars so that the long side provided with the negative impression of the profile scanning device faces the underside of the cross bars and that the cross bars are finally arranged on the side parts in accordance with the negative impression.
  • a profile scanning device for the creation of a negative impression of a longitudinal profile line of the bed side of the bed user as an auxiliary device for setting the arrangement of the cross members with formation of a bed surface of a bed according to the invention longitudinal profile adapted to the longitudinal profile line.

  • the device has a locking device with a release position and a locking position and that the negative impression can be formed in the release position and the negative impression has a rigid shape in the locking position.
  • the invention provides that the frame has a holder and in the holder in a row axially parallel scanning rods which are displaceable in their longitudinal direction independently of each other when the locking device is in the released position and which are fixed in their position when the locking device is in the locked position. In its locked position, the locking device clamps the scanning rods so far in the holder that they can no longer be moved.
