Abstract

L'appareil de chauffage, utilisant des combustibles soli­ des et pouvant être converti à volonté en feu continu ou en feu ouvert, est constitué de deux caissons (1,5), un caisson supérieur (1) formant hotte à fixer contre un mur de cheminée et un caisson inférieur ou bac d'étanchéité (5) relié au caisson supérieur (1) de manière à pouvoir basculer vers le bas, et d'une grille de foyer (3,3′) montée fixe à la base du caisson supérieur (1).
Le caisson inférieur (5) est relié au caisson supérieur ou hotte (1) à sa partie arrière par l'intermédiaire d'une articula­ tion, telle qu'une charnière horizontale (6), et est maintenu dans la position fermée contre le caisson supérieur par un dispositif d'équilibrage, tel qu'un contrepoids (22) avec son câble (23), avec interposition d'un joint d'étanchéité (7).
