Abstract
Système de palier de crémaillère pour maintenir une crémaillère (1) en prise avec un pignon (3). La crémaillère (1) peut avoir une section transversale en Y ou bien une forme cylindrique. La crémaillère (1) est supportée par des coussinets (12, 13) s'appuyant sur des surfaces inclinées (10, 11) de la crémaillère (1). Les coussinets (12, 13) sont supportés par des vis (14, 15) réglables dans l'enceinte (2) et bloqués par des écrous de bloquage (16, 17). Généralement un coussinet (16) s'appuie sur un siège sphérique (18) de vis (17) d'une manière qui permet le basculement. De même, un coussinet (12) s'appuie sur un ressort à lame (20) qui s'appuie sur un siège sphérique de vis (14). En permettant le déplacement de la crémaillère (20) vers le pignon (3), le ressort à lame (20) assure une prise sans jeu entre la crémaillère (1) et le pignon (3). Dans une variante, les coussinets sont pourvus d'évidements sphériques convexes dans les extrémités supérieures des vis. Un ressort hélicoïdal est disposé à l'intérieur des vis pour pousser les coussinets en prise avec la crémaillère. Chaque coussinet (12, 13) peut pivoter ou basculer en cas de déplacement ou de flexion de la crémaillère (1). Dans la construction de la variante les coussinets peuvent pivoter. Les coussinets peuvent être réglés et compenser des défauts de fabrication de la crémaillère de manière à obtenir une pression de contact sensiblement uniforme entre les coussinets et la crémaillère.
