Definitions
- the invention relates to a massage device with a massage plate that can be set in vibration, in which the movements of the massage plate can be derived from a drive style that can be set in rotation by an electric motor and an actuating device that is operatively connected to it.
- an underwater massage device is also known in which a container is placed on a vibrating plate. The water poured into the container is set in motion by the vibration movement that is transferred from the vibrating plate to the container and thus used for underwater massage.
- this device is limited to an underwater massage.
- a combined massage device in which an air pump and a vibrator are provided in the container for the water.
- the vibrator vibrates the water and air bubbles are introduced into the water via the air pump.
- the vibration massage is limited to an underwater massage and the massage effect is increased by the additional bubbling.
- the device requires a vibrator and an air pump.
- a container can be placed on the massage plate, in which a drive shaft is rotatably mounted in the bottom, that the drive shaft carries an impeller or the like in the interior of the container and projects with a plug-in part on the underside of the base, that the massage plate has a breakthrough in the area of the drive part for the insertion of the plug-in part of the drive shaft and that when the plug-in part is inserted into a plug-in receptacle of the drive part an operative connection between the plug-in part and the drive part can be established and the active connection between the drive part and the actuating device can be canceled by adjusting the drive part.
- the drive shaft with the impeller or the like is stored in the container.
- the drive for the impeller is derived from the drive of the massage plate, so that no separate drive is required for the underwater massage. Since the active connection between the drive and the massage plate is removed when the container is in place, the power of the drive already provided for the vibration massage is also sufficient for the underwater massage. Due to the rotary movement of the impeller or the like in the interior of the container, the water filled into the container is set in vibration and an adequate underwater massage is achieved.
- the adjusting device is an eccentric, which is rotatably mounted in a sleeve-shaped extension on the underside of the massage plate by means of a ball bearing.
- the eccentric can then remain stored in the neck of the massage plate and only the operative connection between the drive part and the eccentric needs to be removed and re-established when the container is placed and removed.
- the operative connection is made in that the drive part is designed as a sleeve, which is divided into a plug-in receptacle and a spring receptacle by means of a partition, that the sleeve is provided on the circumferential side with longitudinal webs which can be inserted into grooves in an inner receptacle of the eccentric that not inserted plug-in part a compression spring holds the drive part with its webs in engagement with the grooves of the eccentric and that the drive part with the webs is additionally in engagement with grooves of a receptacle formed by a hub of a drive wheel.
- the compression spring ensures that when the container is removed, the operative connection between the drive part and the eccentric is automatically established again as the actuating device of the massage plate.
- the plug-in receptacle of the drive part is provided with longitudinal webs which are inserted into grooves in the inserted plug-in part and establish the operative connection between the drive part and the drive shaft.
- the drive part assumes a defined position relative to the eccentric when the container is removed, it is provided according to a further embodiment that the inner receptacle of the eccentric facing the massage plate has a stop which determines the end position of the drive part which is under spring tension.
- one embodiment provides that the plug-in part of the drive shaft protrudes so far at the bottom of the container that the drive part is adjusted so far into the receptacle of the drive wheel when the container is placed on it, that the drive part is fully adjusted from the inside of the eccentric.
- the bearing of the drive wheel with the axially adjustable drive part in the housing of the massage device is designed in such a way that the hub of the drive part is rotatably supported by means of a ball bearing in a sleeve-shaped bearing boss of the upper housing part of the massage device.
- one embodiment provides that the impeller or the like is provided with a perforated cover plate to the container interior is covered.
- the configuration is such that the container has a circumferential setting edge which stands on a support of the upper housing part which projects on all sides of the massage plate.
- the container is automatically centered by the massage plate and the setting edge, so that the drive shaft is inevitably inserted through the opening of the massage plate into the plug-in receptacle of the drive part.
- the massage plate itself has nubs or the like on the top and is supported by elastic support elements - the upper part of the housing. This vibrating mounting of the massage plate is therefore no more stressed when the container is placed than the knobs or the like on its upper side.
- the drive of the drive wheel with the axially adjustable drive part in its hub is solved in such a way that, in addition to the massage plate, a housing part receives an electric motor with an output shaft and a driven wheel, the driven wheel being coupled to the drive wheel by means of a belt or the like.
- the section of Fig. 1 shows the structure of the massage device, as it is normally used for the dry vibration massage.
- the top of the massage plate 10 is provided with knobs 11 or the like, which can also be adapted to a reflex zone massage in terms of its design and distribution.
- the massage plate 10 is connected to the upper housing part 14 via the elastic support elements 13, which can follow the oscillating oscillating movement of the massage plate 10.
- the housing part 15 receives the electric motor 16 with the output shaft 17 and the output gear 18.
- the driven wheel 18 is above the frame 19 or d g l. in operative connection with the drive wheel 20.
- the drive wheel 20 has a hub 22 which, by means of the ball bearing 25, in the sleeve-shaped bearing projection 26 of the upper housing part 14 is rotatably mounted.
- the hub 22 forms a receptacle 23 for the drive part 27, which is axially adjustable in this receptacle 23, but is held non-rotatably in this receptacle 23, as the webs 34 of the drive part 27 and the grooves 24 of the receptacle 23 show.
- These longitudinal webs 34 and grooves 24 fix the drive part 27 non-rotatably in the receptacle 23, but allow an axial adjustment of the drive part 27 in the receptacle 23.
- the webs and grooves can also be interchanged.
- the drive part 27 is sleeve-shaped and divided into two receptacles 27 and 28 by the partition.
- the receptacle 28 serves as a spring receptacle for a compression spring, not shown, which is supported on the bottom of the receptacle 23 and on the partition of the drive part 27.
- the compression spring holds the drive part 27 in the position shown in FIG. 3.
- the outer webs 34 of the drive part 27 are inserted into grooves in the inner receptacle 47 of the eccentric 33.
- the stops 48 of the inner receptacle 47 limit the insertion position of the drive part 27 into the inner receptacle 47 of the eccentric 33.
- the drive wheel 20 If the drive wheel 20 is driven, then the drive part 27 is rotated as well and the massage plate 10 in via the operative connection between the drive part 27 and the eccentric 33 oscillating swing movement offset.
- the eccentric 33 is rotatably mounted on the ball bearing 32 in the sleeve-shaped extension 31 of the massage plate 10.
- the receptacle 29 of the drive part 27 forms a plug-in receptacle with internal, longitudinal webs 30.
- the massage plate 10 has an opening 12 above the plug-in receptacle 29 of the drive part 27.
- the container 35 is set up with the setting edge 45, then the drive shaft 41 rotatably mounted in the base 36 is coupled to the drive part 27.
- the drive shaft 41 projects with the plug-in part 39 on the underside of the base 36 and is inserted into the plug-in receptacle 29 of the drive part 27.
- the plug-in part 39 has longitudinal grooves for the webs 30 of the plug-in receptacle 29.
- the plug-in part 39 projects so far on the bottom 36 of the container 35 that when the container 35 is placed on the support 46, the drive part 27 is inserted so far into the receptacle 23 of the drive wheel 20 that it moves fully out of the inner receptacle 47 of the eccentric 33 becomes.
- the compression spring is kept under tension, to which the water filled in the container 35 contributes.
- the operative connection between the drive part 27 and the eccentric 33 is therefore canceled and the drive shaft 41 is now also rotated when the drive wheel 20 and the drive part 27 rotate.
- the drive shaft 41 is offset several times and is rotatably supported in the bearing dome 37 of the base 36 via the ball bearing 38.
- the seal 40 seals this bearing point.
- the drive shaft 41 protrudes from the bearing dome 37 and carries the impeller 42 in the container interior, which causes the filled water to vibrate when it rotates.
- the perforated cover plate 43 is introduced in the container 35 above the impeller 42 in order to prevent contact with the impeller 42.
- the setting edge 45 of the container 35 stands on the support 46 connected to the upper housing part 14 and encloses the somewhat higher massage plate 10.
- the container 35 is therefore centered when it is placed on the support 46 in such a way that the drive shaft 41 is inserted through the opening 12 of the massage plate 10 directly into the plug receptacle 29 of the drive part 27.
- the massager is placed over feet 21.
- the upper housing part 14 can also be connected to a lower housing part that covers all drive elements.
