Definitions
- the invention is directed to a piece of jewelry, in particular from alloys with precious metals, and to a method for producing wires, rods, profiles or metal sheets, in particular from alloys with precious metals.
- Jewelery made of precious metals in which the appearance is given its special character by the different colors of the metals used, are known in a wide variety of forms. Methods for the production of such jewelry or of the primary materials are also known.
- DE-OS 27 33 602 describes a method for producing a piece of jewelry made of platinum with a fine gold coating.
- the brilliance of the color appearance is achieved by contrasting gold and platinum.
- Other types are also known. So the combination of silver and gold to achieve similar color effects here.
- the object of the invention is to create a solution with which a piece of jewelry or materials such as wires, Rods, profiles or sheets can be produced, which have an essentially continuously changing color gradient.
- this object is achieved according to the invention in that it is made from a blank which is made from individual segments of different alloy levels and thus of different optical appearance, the individual segments being welded to one another.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in that individual wire, rod, profile or sheet metal segments of differently graded alloys and thus of different optical appearance are produced in order to achieve an essentially constantly changing color gradient, and segments of different types are then connected to one another.
- the invention provides that the different metal segments are welded to one another using the melting points located close to one another. This type of connection is of particular importance for the invention, since the welding enables a particularly seamless transition of adjacent segments.
- the invention is not limited to this alloy component.
- the invention also provides that silver and / or palladium and / or nickel and / or bronze and / or brass or other colored metals or their alloys are added to the gold for changing the color.
- two configurations are possible, which consist in the fact that the gold component varies per segment, e.g. B. falls with the increase in the proportion of silver, or that the gold component per segment is constant remains, in this case the alloy elements change.
- the ring 1 shown in Fig. 1 is designed as a so-called split ring, at the gap 2 the greatest color jump occurs.
- the color of red , rose , yellow, green ivory and finally silver-white in area 4 can change due to an increase in the silver content.
- the ring 1 'shown in Fig. 2 does not have a color jump in a gap, but opposite dark and light areas, which are denoted by 3' and 4 'based on the designation in Fig. 1.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 show other pieces of jewelry that are made from plates or rods of different color gradients.
- a necklace 5 with a plurality of metal plates 6, which have different color gradients while in Fig. 4 z. B. is part of an arm chain 7 is set, again with individual metal plates 8 different color gradients.
- the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments described, but rather can be modified in many ways without departing from the basic idea of the invention. So the invention is of course not limited to a special type of jewelry.
- the procedure according to the invention can be used for a large number of other things in which in particular noble metals and their alloys are used. I.e. the invention is not limited to the jewelry sector, it can also be used, for example, in electronics when, for. B. should be desired by constant alloy changes, a corresponding change in the heat or current flow in a component and the like. More.

Abstract
