- the shape of the openings made in the plates it can either correspond fairly exactly, as shown in Figure 1, the shape of the constituent parts of the movement, or on the contrary move away from it so as to produce, by itself, particular aesthetic effects.
- the invention offers the possibility, not only, through the use of transparent plates, of making a watch in which all the parts are visible, but also, by playing on the color of the plates and the shape of their openings, create very special aesthetic effects which give the whole an aspect close to that of a stained glass window.
- corundum plates makes it possible to produce a particularly remarkable watch.
- This material has a hardness which gives it a very high resistance to abrasion.
- the aesthetic result is such that it is self-sufficient and that consequently, the time display function can be omitted to leave only a set of mobiles integrated in a sort of stained glass.
