Abstract

Dispostif méchanique de maintien d'une porte en posi­ tion d'ouverture comportant un bras (6) coulissant dans un corps-guide (9) pourvu de patins susceptibles de s'écarter lors du passage du bras et de moyens à action antagoniste élastique tendant à rapprocher les patins.
Le dispositif selon l'invention se caractérise en ce que le corps-guide (9) presente au moins un élément de surface (18, 19) de forme extérieure cylindrique, mécaniquement lié aux patins (13, 14) et radialement déformable, et en ce que les moyens à action antagoniste sont constitués par au moins un ressort hélicoïdal (16, 17) monté coaxialement autour dudit élément de surface 18, 19) et au contact de ce dernier.
Le dispositif selon l'invention trouve une application préférentielle pour les portes des vehicules automobiles.
