Abstract

Die Bürste für Oberflächenbearbeitung ist insbesondere als Schleif- und Polierbürste in Form einer Rund- oder Endbürste mit einem auf einer Spindel (2) sitzenden Träger (3) und einem davon nach außen oder in Verlängerung der Spin­ del (2) nach vorn gerichteten Drahtbesatz (4) aus Stahl, Mes­ sing, Kupfer oder dergleichen ausgebildet. Der Drahtbesatz (4) ist zumindest teilweise mit Schleifmittel, wie Diamant­ staub oder Diamantsplitter, besetzt und kann einen galvani­ schen Überzug (6) aus Kupfer oder dergleichen als Träger für das Schleifmittel aufweisen bzw. unterkupfert sein. Der Diamantstaub bzw. die Diamantpartikel (5) sind mittels eines Galvanisierbades auf die Drähte des Drahtbesatzes (4) bzw. auf deren zusätzliche Beschichtung (6) aufgebracht. Die Polier- und Schleifwirkung derartiger Bürsten kann allein durch unterschiedlichen Andruck an die zu bearbeitenden Oberflächen in weiten Grenzen variiert werden, wobei außerdem der Verbrauch an Schleif- und Poliermittel stark verringert und die Standzeit derartiger Werkzeuge beträcht­ lich erhöht wird.
