Abstract

Die Erfindung geht aus von einem auf elektromagneti­ sche Strahlung, insbesondere im Infrarot-Bereich anspre­ chenden Bewegungsmelder mit einer als Hohlspiegel (3) ausgebildeten Optik zur Bündelung der aus Gesichtsfeldern (14) horizontaler und vertikaler Ebenen des Überwachungs­ bereiches ankommenden Strahlung auf einen Strahlungs­ empfänger und einem Verbindungsteil (1), an dessen einem Ende der Hohlspiegel (3) und vor dessen anderem, der Eingangsöffnung (13) benachbarten Ende der Strahlungs­ empfänger angeordnet ist.
Zum Zweck der Vervielfachung der Gesichtsfelder (14) in beiden Ebenen zur Erzielung einer größeren Auslösesi­ cherheit und vor allem größerer Reichweiten auf möglichst einfache und kostengünstige Weise ist jeweils wenigstens ein vom Ausgang des Strahlungsempfängers in Richtung zum Hohlspiegel (3) unter einem Winkel von zwischen 0° und 20° zur optischen Achse des Strahlungsempfängers divergierend angeordneter, den horizontalen bzw. vertika­ len Gesichtsfeldebenen (14) zugeordneter Spiegel (10, 11) vorgesehen.
In einer für die meisten praktischen Anwendungsfälle vorteilhaften Ausführung des erfindungsgemäßen Bewe­ gungsmelders sind jeweils zwei einander gegenüberliegen­ de Spiegel (10, 11) symmetrisch zur optischen Achse des Strahlungsempfängers angeordnet.
