Abstract
Bei einem gebauten mit einem inneren Kühlraum und
einem äußeren Kühlkanal ausgestatteten Kolben für Brenn
kraftmaschinen ist zwischen einem auf der Innenseite des
Oberteils angebrachten Ringsteg und einer diesem gegen
überliegenden Fläche des Unterteils ein Ringflansch einge
klemmt, an dessen kühlkanalseitigem Rand eine in den Kühl
kanal hineinragende Zunge angeordnet ist.
Um die Temperatur der brennraumseitigen Wand des
Kühlkanals soweit wie möglich zu senken und gleichzeitig die
Temperatur im Bereich wenigstens der ersten Kolbenringnut
auf einem die Naßkorrosion des Kolbens und des Kolbenrin
ges verhindernden Niveau zu halten, bildet die Zunge mit der
brennraumseitigen Wand des Kühlkanals einen vergleichs
weise engen Ringspalt, der beim Hindurchströmen des Kühl
öls einen Drosseleffekt ausübt.
