- the threaded part 39 is clamped, screwed or pressed onto the shaft 14.
- Inside the nut 37 is the actual chuck bed 40, which consists of a disc part 41 with attached fingers 42, similar to a contact brush ring. The fingers 42 are pressed against the brush base 19 during tensioning.
