Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fastener for fixing fence elements, cladding, wires, grids, bars or the like to post or other supporting elements by means of a screw, rivet or the like, with a recess which forms a receiving recess and is approximately U-shaped Section executed bracket and a mounting flange protruding from the U-shaped bracket, the insertion opening of the receiving recess being smaller than the cross section of the parts of the fence element to be used, the cladding, the wires, grids, bars or the like.
  • fence elements, rods or the like are held by such fasteners in the receiving openings of the bracket and pressed against a post element.
  • the fence elements, grids, bars or the like lie directly against the post or other support element, so that abrasion movements occur and, in addition, corrosion occurs as a result of the weather, which in particular then occurs has a disadvantageous effect if the fence elements and the post elements are not made of the same material.
  • water penetrates at the screwing points and leads to damaging and unsightly rust formation between the screw and nut threads.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to design a fastener of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that optimal security against loosening of the fence elements or the like from the anchoring is ensured.
  • this is achieved in that the fastening flange is aligned against the direction of the legs of the U-shaped bracket forming the receiving recess and adjoins the U-shaped bracket in the region of the transverse web, and in that the free ends of both legs in the direction of the opening ⁇ receiving indentation are bent.
  • the fastener according to the invention can be fixed in a simple manner by means of screws, rivets or the like of any kind to the post or other supporting elements, the possibility being open to provide bores for inserting screws in advance on the post elements or else the fastening to be carried out on site by means of self-drilling screws, so that an optimal adaptation to the terrain is possible.

  • An absolutely secure and no longer releasable connection of fence elements, wires, grids, bars or the like to post or other supporting elements is thus guaranteed, although this embodiment is a very simple construction Variant acts.
  • FIG. 2 A further design of the fastener is shown in FIG. 2.
