Abstract

Procédé permettant d'effectuer des opérations sous-marines à de grandes profondeurs en utilisant une cloche de plongée conçue et construite pour supporter une pression extérieure D1 pouvant être immergée jusqu'à une profondeur où règne une pression externe D3 considérablement plus grande que D1, de sorte qu'une pression interne plus grande D2 règne dans la cloche de plongée, de telle manière que la différence entre les pressions D3 et D2 est constamment inférieure à la pression D1 pour laquelle la cloche de plongée a été conçue. Les plongeurs se trouvant dans la cloche de plongée avant l'immersion passent par une phase de compression puis, après avoir accompli leur mission, par une phase de décompression.
