Abstract

Une machine d'expansion d'une pièce à usiner prédécoupée ou à entaille (30) ayant une pluralité de nervures (31) espacées par des parties d'âme (32), comprend une table (12), des moyens d'expansion consistant en une barre transversale (17) portant des griffes (20) et des plaques de montage (25) fixées par rapport à la table (12) avec une barre transversale mobile (18) portant des griffes (21) et des plaques de montage (26) actionnées pour effectuer un mouvement transversalement par rapport à la table (12) par une roue dentée entraînée (14), une chaîne (15) et une roue de renvoi (16). Des moyens de liaison (24) sont reliés à des plaques de montage (25, 26); sur ces moyens de liaison se trouvent des barres d'expansion (27) adaptées pour engager des nervures sélectionnées (31) de la pièce à usiner (30); en actionnant l'entraînement à chaîne (14, 15, 16), les moyens de liaison (24) et les barres d'expansion (27) sont déplacés à partir d'une position initiale dans laquelle les barres d'expansion (27) sont suffisamment rapprochées pour permettre le positionnement de la pièce à usiner (30) sur la table (12) et des barres d'expansion (27) entre les nervures adjacentes (31) de la pièce à usiner vers une position finale dans laquelle les barres d'expansion (27) ont été déplacées pour effectuer une expansion de la pièce à usiner (30) d'une ampleur prédéterminée.
