Abstract

Der Überflurhydrant ist mit zwei im oberen Teil der Hydrantensäule 1 gegenüberliegenden Angängen 2, 3 für die Wasserentnahme versehen und weist unter der Abdeckhau­ be 16 einen Verschlußdeckel auf, der das Säulenendstück 13 nach oben druckdicht abschließt. Um Verwirbelungen und Turbulenzen im zylindischen Säulenendstück 13 zu vermei­ den und die Durchflußmenge zu erhöhen, ist der Verschlu­ ßdeckel nach unten hin über eine durch das Säulenendstück 13 reichende Verlängerung 17 fest mit einem den Kreisquer­ schnitt des Säulenendstückes weitgehend abdeckenden Strömungsleitkörper 18 verbunden, der auf seiner Anström­ seite 2 sich bogenförmig zu den beiden seitlichen Abgängen 2, 3 hin ersteckende, kugelschalenartig nach innen gewölbte Umlenkmulden 21, 22 trägt. Die Außenrandabschnitte 23 der Umlenkmulden sind dem Innenradius der Abgänge ange­ paßt und die der Anströmung entgegengerichteten Innen­ ränder 24 des Strömungsleitkörpers 18 bilden einen Strö­ mungsteiler 26.
