Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Pralltrockner mit einem um eine waagerechte Achse 3 umlaufenden, mit Schlagwerkzeu­ gen 4 versehenen offenen, von Heißgasen quer durchströmten Rotor 2, der in einem unten geschlossenen Gehäuse 1 an­ geordnet ist. Oberhalb des Rotors sind eine Eintrittsöffnung 9 für Heißgase und eine Eintrittsöffnung 5 für das zu trocknende Gut vorgesehen. Das getrocknete und zerkleinerte Gut tritt mit dem Trocknungsgas durch einen oben liegenden Auslaß 10 aus. Zur Ausscheidung von unzerkleinerbaren Teilen sind mit einem Schleusenraum 11 die Verbindung herstellende Öffnun­ gen 13/15 vorgesehen, deren Verschlußklappen 14/16 erst nach Abschaltung der Materialzufuhr 7 geöffnet werden.
