Abstract

Der Primärleiter besteht aus einem quadratischen ge­ raden Hohlleiter (10). Ein Septum (13) mit abgestufter Stirn­ partie als Polarisator bildet eine Trennwand im Hohlleiter (10), so dass zwei identische rechteckige Hohlleiter (21, 22) entstehen. Zur Vermeidung von Echowellen ist eine Filter­ partie (F) vorgesehen, die mit kapazitiven Koppelelementen versehen ist. Zwischen Septum (13) und Strahler (12) ist mit­ tels einer Verengung im Hohlleiter (10) ein Phasenkompen­ sator (K) gebildet. Die damit aus einer zirkular polarisierten Welle erzeugten Wellen des TE01- und TE10-Modes haben einen Phasenwinkel von fast genau 90°. Ein solcher Hohllei­ ter lässt sich in Spritzgusstechnik sehr kostengünstig her­ stellen.
