Definitions

  • the invention relates to a punch with a vertically movable upper tool carrier having at least two punching tools arranged next to one another and with a lower tool carrier having at least two punching dies arranged next to one another, preferably each punching tool consisting of a punch stamp, a punch holder and a union nut connecting the punch to the punch holder .
  • Punches of the type in question are known in various embodiments.
  • the invention is based on a punch known from practice with three punching tools arranged directly next to one another at a fixed distance from one another and which can be driven by the drive slide depending on the desired hole diameter.
  • a workpiece to be machined can always be positioned in relation to the selected punching tool in such a way that the hole with the desired hole diameter is punched to the desired location (see the brochure "MUBEA COORDINATE TABLE" B 0475 of the applicant from 1975) .
  • the punching tools are arranged as close to one another as possible.
  • an upper tool carrier is realized with a single punch, from which, in the open position, the punch, that is to say the punch, punch holder and union nut, can be pulled out in one go.
  • the punch can then be released from the stamp when the punch is removed or the punch as a whole can even be exchanged for another punch for a short time, with the punch then being replaced at a different location, for example in a spare parts store (see the brochure "MUBEA VARIOCUT "RU 0884 of the applicant).
  • a so-called sealing pot is provided in the tool holder of this punch with only a single punch.
  • the sealing pot has a vertically extending insertion slot through which the punching tool can be inserted or inserted horizontally into a punch holder of the upper tool carrier.
  • the locking pot is fastened to the tool carrier so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis, so that the insertion slot can be moved from the end face of the upper tool carrier into the interior of the tool carrier.
  • the upper tool carrier can thus be closed by rotating the locking pot.
  • an embossing machine with a quick-change device for the embossing stamp is known (NL-A-299 765).
  • stamping machine several stamping tools are arranged in a fixed tool carrier.
  • the workpiece to be embossed lies on a vertically movable workpiece carrier and is delivered to the embossing dies by this.
  • the embossing dies arranged in the tool holder protrude downwards from the tool holder by the maximum embossing depth and are pushed into the workpiece holder by this when the workpiece is delivered, and are accordingly pushed upwards out of the workpiece holder.
  • the embossing dies can be actuated in sequence from above the tool carrier by means of an actuating device and thereby pressed out of the tool carrier by the embossing depth into the workpiece.
  • the quick-change device for the stamping dies has a receiving plate with a number of stamping die receptacles arranged next to one another which corresponds to the number of stamping dies.
  • the mounting plate is assigned a locking cap that can be locked with the mounting plate.
  • a recess is provided for holding the embossing dies approximately in the center of the embossing die, and on the other hand a flange engaging in the recess of the embossing die at a corresponding height on the receiving plate. Since the recess is larger in the vertical direction than the flange, each die has vertical play within the tool holder, but cannot be pulled out of the tool holder either downwards or upwards.
  • the sealing cap only contributes to the locking of the embossing stamps insofar as the embossing stamps are prevented by the sealing cap from moving horizontally away from the receiving plate.
  • the teaching of the invention is based on the object, the ge called known from practice to design and refine the punch so that a tight change of a punching tool, several punching tools or all punching tools is possible with closely spaced punching tools.
  • the punch mentioned at the outset, in which the above-mentioned object is achieved, is characterized according to the invention in that the upper ends of the punching tools (2) or the punch holder (6) of the punching tools (2) are provided with hammer-head-like extensions (11) that the upper tool carrier has a receiving plate with a number of stamp receptacles arranged next to one another corresponding to the number of punching tools, that the stamp receptacles (9) are open towards the front side of the upper tool carrier (1) and thus the upper ends of the punching tools (2) or the stamp holder (6) the punching tools (2) can be inserted or inserted horizontally into the punch receptacles (9) in such a way that a closure cap associated with the receiving plate and lockable with the receiving plate is provided, that the receiving plate and the closure cap are provided with support flanges corresponding to the hammer head-like extensions and that in the direction of insertion of the Sta nzwerkmaschinegnee seen the extensions only on the front and back of the punching tools
  • the upper tool carrier is equipped with a mounting plate and a closure cap assigned to the mounting plate, thereby creating an easy-to-use stamp holder.
  • the support flanges provided on the mounting plate and on the closure cap form a seat for the hammer-head-like extensions formed at the upper end of the punching tools or the punch holder of the punching tools. Thanks to the support flanges, the punching tools cannot slide down when the sealing cap is closed, but have the option of deflecting upwards when a punching tool is not operated when it hits a workpiece.
  • the punch shown in FIG. 1 in a schematic representation in a front view and partially cut open initially has a vertically movable upper tool carrier 1 with three punching tools 2 arranged next to one another and a lower tool carrier 3 with three corresponding punching dies 4 arranged next to one another.
  • the upper tool carrier 1 is important for the teaching of the invention, so that the lower tool carrier 3 is not to be explained in more detail here.
  • each punch 2 of the upper tool carrier 1 in the illustrated embodiment of a punch consists of a punch 5, a punch holder 6 and a union nut 7 connecting the punch 5 to the punch holder 6 the union nut 7 can remove the punch 5 from the punch holder 6.
  • FIG. 1 Not shown in FIG. 1 is the device which makes it possible to "activate” the desired punch 2 or the desired punch 2.
  • a suitable system is known for example from DE-B-2 940-661, so that this publication who may be shown.
  • FIG. 1 clearly shows that the three punching tools 2 provided in the punch shown are arranged as close as possible to one another, so that a coordinate table (not shown in FIG. 1) covers the shortest possible travel paths when positioning a workpiece (not shown) under different punching tools 2 Has.
  • the punching tools 2 can each be removed altogether from the upper tool holder 1, namely pulled out towards the end face of the upper tool holder 1.
  • the upper tool carrier 1 has a receiving plate 8 with a number of stamp receptacles 9 arranged next to one another which corresponds to the number of punching tools 2. This is shown very clearly in FIG. 3 in connection with FIG. 1.
  • the stamp receptacles 9 in the receiving plate 8 are open towards the end face of the upper tool carrier 1, so that the upper ends of the punching tools 2 or the punch holder 6 of the punching tools 2 can be inserted or inserted essentially horizontally into the punch receptacles 9.
  • FIG. 3 shows in connection with FIG. 1 that a closure cap 10 which closes all stamp receptacles 9 at the open ends is provided and can be locked with the receiving plate 8.
  • the punching tools 2 can be pulled out quickly and easily towards the front, towards the front side of the upper tool carrier 1, out of the punch receptacles 9, exchangeable and reinserted or used again.
  • a punch 2 consists of punch 5, punch 6 and union nut 7, the union nut 7 can be loosened on the punch 2 separate from the upper tool carrier 1, that is to say with sufficient space for handling.
  • the punching tool 2 can also be exchanged as a whole, in which case the punch 5 may then be exchanged for another punch 5 at a remote location, for example in a spare parts store.
  • Fig. 2 shows particularly clearly that the upper ends of the punch 2 or the punch holder 6 of the punch 2 are provided with hammer head-like extensions 11.
  • Fig. 3 it can be seen that the receiving plate 8 and preferably also the closure cap 10 in the stamp receptacles 9 are provided with support flanges 12 corresponding to the hammer head-like extensions 11.
  • the punch holders 6 of the punching tools 2 come to rest on the corresponding support flanges 12, so that the punching tools 2 cannot slide out of the upper tool holder 1, that is to say from the punch receptacles 9 in the receiving plate 8, at least then not when the cap 10 is closed.
  • the punching tools 2 can be lifted upwards from the support flanges 12 in the exemplary embodiment shown here, which is intended to function, since the punching tools 2 which are not “activated” at the moment can deflect upwards when they strike a workpiece.
  • the extensions 11 and support flanges 12 are not arranged on all sides of the stamp holder 6 or stamp receptacles 9.
  • the extensions 11 are seen here in the insertion direction of the punching tools 2 (arrow in FIGS. 3 and 2) essentially only on the front and rear sides of the upper ends of the punching tools 2 or the stamp holder 6 of the punching tools 2 is formed and, accordingly, the support flanges 12 are formed essentially only on the one hand at the closed ends of the stamp receptacles 9 in the receiving plate 8, and on the other hand on the closure cap 10 which closes the stamp receptacles 9 at the open ends.
  • the wall thicknesses remaining between the stamp receptacles 9 in the receiving plate 8 are as small as is possible for constructional reasons, so that the lateral spacings of the punching tools 2 are minimal. This has the operational advantages explained above.
  • the closure cap 10 can be locked with the mounting plate 8. This is only a statement about the state with the closure cap 10 closed.
  • the closure cap 10 can be completely removable from the receiving plate 8 for opening the stamp receptacles 9.
  • the closure cap 10 is pivotally articulated on the mounting plate 8, in the preferred exemplary embodiment shown on a transverse side of the mounting plate 8, and by means of a locking device 13, in the preferred exemplary embodiment shown, on the opposite transverse side the mounting plate 8 arranged locking device 13, lockable with the mounting plate 8.
  • Fig. 1 clearly shows that the pivotable articulation of the cap 10 on the transverse side of the mounting plate 8 by means of a grub screw 14 fixed to the mounting plate 8 bearing pin 15 which engages up and down in bearing eyes 16 of the cap 10 .
  • the locking device 13 provided on the opposite transverse side of the mounting plate 8 in the illustrated embodiment consists in the illustrated embodiment of a on the mounting plate 8 in horizontal plane pivotally articulated locking bolt 17 and a locking receptacle provided on the closure cap 10 and open on one side towards the transverse side.
  • the locking bolt 17 can be pivoted into the locking receptacle 18 and, in the exemplary embodiment shown, can be tightened by means of a clamping nut 19.
  • the clamping nut 19, like the specific configuration of the locking device 13, is only shown as an example. There are of course a multitude of other possibilities for designing the locking device 13. Nevertheless, the design of the locking device 13 shown is particularly expedient in terms of handling.
  • a locking bolt with a clamping head that is under the spring load of a tension spring is also recommended as a suitable alternative to a clamping nut 19.
  • a kind of snap lock can thus be implemented.
  • the locking device 13 previously explained in detail in connection with the closure cap 10 can also be realized on both transverse sides of the mounting plate 8, in which case the locking cap 10 would then be completely removable from the mounting plate 8.
  • FIG. 2 shows in connection with FIG. 4 a special feature of the preferred exemplary embodiment of a punch according to the invention shown here.
  • the extensions 11 at the upper ends of the punching tools 2 or the punch 6 of the punching tools 2 are bevelled on the sides facing away from the pivot point of the closure cap 10 approximately from the center towards the open ends of the punch receptacles 9 .
  • the bevels of the extensions 11 are necessary if the smallest possible tolerances are achieved between the outer dimensions of the extensions 11 and the inner dimensions of the stamp receptacles 9 and if the closure cap 10 is pivotably articulated on one side on the mounting plate 8. Then namely in the absence of the bevels 20, the cap 10 would jam immediately upon opening.
  • the illustrated embodiment of a punch according to the invention is designed in such a way that the mounting plate 8 has a frame 21 projecting toward the end face of the upper tool carrier 1 with through openings 22 for the upper ends of the punching tools 2 or the punch holder 6 Punching tools 2 has.
  • the closure cap 10 can be pivoted under the frame 21 to the mounting plate 8.
  • an essentially smooth end face of the upper tool carrier 1 is thus provided.
  • vertical guides for the punching tools 2 or the stamp-like 6 of the punching tools 2 are thus obtained Compliance with the exact target position of the punching tools 2 is guaranteed.
